With no intentions of doing an outfit post, I was just having a relaxed moment, wearing my boyfriend jeans, barefaced, and wearing a baseball hat to hide my messy hair while visiting Christ Church College of Oxford. As a typical tourist sight-seeing and not missing out on any picture opportunities, voila, and here I have enough for a series. 
Don't be fooled by the sun, it is still pretty chilly in Oxford. The turtleneck and the jacket is just the right combo to protect me from the cold. Also showing off some UK love with my Reebok hat with an English flag.

On our first day in Edinburgh I wore a vintage coat I found in my mom's closet. I DIYed by changing the shape and adding a waist line (I am not going to go in depth with explaining this), switched the buttons and attached a black faux fur collar for a military inspiration. Underneath I wore a black blazer for just an extra layer to defeat the cold. I also cut a vintage tank top with scissors for a cropped look. Paired with high waist jeans for a conservative amount of mid-section skin bareness. Not to miss out layering dainty necklaces.

EDINBURGH

 Despite the blossoming of flowers and the warm welcome approach of Spring, we decided to hit it high and cold up north to Scotland. Since coming all the way to Oxford again, the highlands were certainly a no-no to miss out. We spend just one day in Edinburgh before taking a tour to Loch Ness. A city build on a rock with a castle right in the middle, walking down the Royal Mile, and having a division of the Old Town and the New Town. Edinburgh is a marvelous city full of history and interesting stories.

Angel with a Dirty Face

Last concept from the photo shoot with Daniel. We decided to do something out-of-ordinary, different from the previous themes, and mess up the look we already had. If you noticed that all the other pictures I posted earlier were a majority of body-shots of my posing; a close-up head shot was the thing we needed to add. Scratched up. An angel with a dirty face. I interpret this as looking beyond what is skin deep and finding the inner angel. It is also those scars and scratches or experiences that makes her what she is today.

With a father owning a military based institution, I remember shopping with my mother at military stores for equipment when I was younger. Hoping to find the perfect flight jacket, or a sailor striped shirt, thinking......and STILL believing that nothing could be better than the "real" thing. 
I have always been in love with military styled jackets with their clean cuts and sparkling buttons. It adds power and an instant edginess. Incorporating this vintage Moschino jacket, I added thigh high stockings and dark lips for the photo shoot. Soldier with a twist but always a fighter at heart.
