Diana Von Furstenberg AW13 Makeup Look

Fall Fall Fall! This my interpretation of Diana Von Furstenberg's AW13 makeup look. The little pop of pink on the lips seems appropriate for the season. Plus, with the interruption of wind blowing and leaves falling on the face, something light on the eyes is just more comfortable. Light eyeshadow, no fake lashes, applying eyeliner only on the waterline. I really enhanced the cheeks and enjoying the look. Toned down the pink for a more wearable look (or that was the brightest pink I could find in my makeup kit).

Suisse Programme

Introducing the new current cellular skincare products I am using. It is the Suisse Programme from Switzerland. Apparently, it is a skincare line popular in Asia. Yet I just got to experience it thanks to my boyfriend who got it for me as a present.

Products: (Left to Right)

Cellular Supreme Cream: Enriched with Lipomoist, Hyasol and Shea Butter which can offer instant hydration and reinforce the skin’s moisture barrier. The Macadamia nut oil and Phytosqualan act as a protective barrier to combat the harmful effects of pollutants and sunlight.

Cellular Boosting Solution: To be used with other products. Boosts the transformative effects of daily skincare.

Cellular Vital Eye Cream: Concentrated with metabolic biomolecules and specific plant extracts which helps to reduce puffiness and bags under the eyes. Helps to reduce premature aging and make skin smooth and resilient.

Cellular Vital Mask: Clears the complexion and stimulates cellular respiration. It increases the skin regeneration process and improves skin radiance. Ideal for all skin types, including delicate skin.

Cellular Supreme Serum: Works to renew skin, tighten facial contour and delay the sign of aging.

I've been using this product for a week now. Overall, the results are significant, leaving my skin really hydrated, smooth, soft, and silky. I had a few red areas around my nose and the areas have all disappeared, creating a more even tone of skin. I would personally say that it will be more suitable for the autumn-winter weather as I would prefer something more light and fresh compared to this line for the summer.
The favorite is the Eye Cream. The areas around my eyes are more sensitive but after using the eye cream, it feels younger around the eyes area and my dark circles and bags have all lightened.
I use the whole set besides the vital mask every night, so it can be difficult to identify which is doing the magic. Them together maybe.

Turn of Luck

H&M Rings

I know I don't have the prettiest fingers but it still should not stop me from playing with my finger tips. Black gel polish with foil paper. They call it the "Turn of Luck" nails. Getting luckier or not, I adore them. The colors and metallic shines by my coat sleeve as I hold my dearest cup of Starbucks walking in the city of rain... yes I had it all planned in my head.

But We Shall Meet Again

Zara DressJ Crew Flip flopsMichael Kors WatchCartier Ring/ no brand Ring and Earrings

It's funny how people usually take time off to travel around the world but miss out sights just outside the backyard. Living in Beijing, my love and I decided to visit Beihai Park. We were just seeking for a quiet place to be able to see each other and take a walk where no one was to disturb.
Wearing a dress from Zara with prints like water-color. Chose a pair of flip-flops from J Crew that are easy to walk in. I've been taking them everywhere as they are so simple and versatile. The delicate golden stripes holding it together is like a simple piece of jewelry.

 Remember me
Then we will head out towards our own separate paths...
But we shall meet again.

Man Out Of You

They say you ain't a real man unless you've been to the Great Wall. And here is a true man!
We decided to get out of one exit earlier and visit the Great Wall of Juyongguan instead of the most popular Badaling. Turns out it was the best decision made. At 3:00 p.m. there were hardly any tourist and it seems like the whole Great Wall belonged to us. Only us.
The steep stairs were no longer intimidating as the autumn breeze blows through while the sun sets. Climbing the Great Wall has never been more pleasant.

Flaties to Rock

Stella Luna Shoes

The obsession of being high up, the higher the heel the better... Eventually the girl has to accept the fact that not all roads are good for walking, and sometimes the path ahead can be devastatingly far away.....I've confronted reality. And who says I don't wear flaties? These Stella Luna's are my recent purchase, the satin surface and rhinestone buckle lightens up any outfit.

Been used to be in front of the camera, I've started to get more serious behind the scenes. Constantly asking tips about taking pictures from my photographer friends, and learning to edit pictures. This little show-off of my new flats is also be my practice to shooting objects.

Flaties to Rock!

Shu Qi for Bazaar September China

Never really quite understood why Shu Qi was the goddess to almost every Chinese women, I just don't get it. But this editorial totally won me over. Shu Qi is so confident and stunningly beautiful here. The outfits, the jewelry, the makeup, the hair, the poses all work together. The white one is already my desktop. I'm obsessed!

Wedding Day

This is the look I did going to my girlfriend's wedding. Due to my new bangs, I was in a dilemma of trying to balance out the cuteness or making me more appealing in front of the elderly. Eventually, I came up with this midpoint where the focus on the makeup will be more on shadow to appear clean and fresh, yet I drew the top and bottom with eyeliner giving it a more fierce effect, but then extending down and outward for a more cute look. The bride said I looked like a life-size Barbie.

Summer Lip Pop

And who isn't tempted by red lips? Or is it really a man repelling thing? Creating visual distance or not, I totally love the look. Despite the fact that red lips can actually be quite intimidating walking down the streets in the city of Beijing (many girls just go bare faced), I don't really care of the judgments of other people as long as it feels right for me.

Wanted to keep the look fresh and clean for summer. Went really light with the eyes, slightly contouring the crease and some eyeliner on the water line. It's always the fake eyelashes that makes a difference, I even drew my own lower lashes with a liquid eyeliner. Instead of a "real" red, I went with a orangy tone lip stain from YSL.

Orangy Red

Catching up with some of the things I've done while I was back home in Beijing during the Summer.

Didn't want the summer to end so I let my fingers go on fire. What's a better idea than a manicure during summer vacation? I have to admit I don't do this often, so this is my first experience with gel polish. It goes on so smoothly and stays on forever. I like simpler styles but I still couldn't control adding a few rhinestones. What you do guys think?
