I only invest in items are I feel are versatile and do not go easily out for style. Not wanting the "from last season" symbol, these minimal strappy heels look great in a dressy gown, can be paired with casual denim jeans, and elongates your legs like walking in tippy-toes but with the minima-lest feet decor.

Visiting Tsinghua University with my secondary school best friend for a healthy and academic reunion. We have known each other for over 10 years, and we always try to meet at least once a year to keep each other updated. Running out of ideas, we decided to wander in a university campus where we can walk and chitchat about our life over the past year.

No, it is not a romantic date. I can be as un-lady like, edgy, and wear the elements that guys find repelling. Who says I can't wear sequins during daytime? 

Gladiators are trending this seasons. Not saying that I have the most qualified legs to handle gladiators, but do put in some thought because they really are not the most elongating and forgivable item in the shelf. These from Free People are comfortable for long walks and are eye catching enough on their own.

I have not been modeling for a while after moving back to China. I got to finally set up a photo-shoot with a photographer who I have been talking to for some time. He specializes in lingerie and that is also the category I am most familiar with. Combining inspirations for our lookbook which will be laid-back, sexy, and indoors.  

I imagine myself in white lace lingerie; wearing a crop top with booty shorts or just an underwear; a structured jacket only with high-waisted shorts, casual white shirt dropping off my shoulders; and boyish tank-top with some side boob. The makeup with be a light grey smoky look with nude lips.

I am proud to say that everything "unnecessary" but those that I really wanted, I have tried to provide it by myself. Not trying to be corny, but as a full-time student and only working for short terms, it does take a while to have enough savings. Yet, the satisfaction and excitement when you can finally go to the store and bring the "baby" home cannot be compared when you haven't put in the hard work and the waiting. Thus, one bag every one or two years is reasonable. I also consider myself more of a shoe girl than a bag girl, so I always buy more shoes.

With receiving more frequent sunshine, I wanted something more vibrant. Still unable to give up some edginess, it felt uncomfortable getting something out-right bright. "Celineish" with its clean lines, the trapeze bag is vibrant enough (at least for me) with the pop-out blue and soft white that looks perfect for summer. The bottom black piece satisfies the edginess and sophistication still. The bottom black also decreases the maintenance as you don't have to worry as much as where you are landing it. With plenty of space to carry all of my day time carry-ons, this is my happily invested 2015 goodie sack. 

There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.

Heading out to have brunch with friends and I got a paparazzi snap-shot while listening to the final parental instructions.  I have been wearing this grey coat almost every day as it is extremely convenient, easy to dress up or down, and suitable for work or any other occasions. The trick is to switch different scarfs to hide the reality and make the look more diverse each time.

When everything feels like an uphill struggle, just think of the view from the top.

PISCES

New change, new look. Just adjusted my makeup routine to go with my freshly cut shorter hair. I decided to make a simple smokier version of what I do with dark brown eyeshadow messily smudged on the eyelids, and eyeliner pencil all around my upper and lower lashline. What I hate most is un-matcing eyebrows and hair so I used a lighter brow gel to make my hair all in one tone. Less sweet, a bit mature, and I hope somehow a little tiny bit more seductive.
