MINIMAL
This pair has been all over the place. I tell myself sarcastically that I cannot be missing out since they are so popular.
I only invest in items are I feel are versatile and do not go easily out for style. Not wanting the "from last season" symbol, these minimal strappy heels look great in a dressy gown, can be paired with casual denim jeans, and elongates your legs like walking in tippy-toes but with the minima-lest feet decor.

TRAPEZE
Celine Trapeze Bag
I am proud to say that everything "unnecessary" but those that I really wanted, I have tried to provide it by myself. Not trying to be corny, but as a full-time student and only working for short terms, it does take a while to have enough savings. Yet, the satisfaction and excitement when you can finally go to the store and bring the "baby" home cannot be compared when you haven't put in the hard work and the waiting. Thus, one bag every one or two years is reasonable. I also consider myself more of a shoe girl than a bag girl, so I always buy more shoes.
With receiving more frequent sunshine, I wanted something more vibrant. Still unable to give up some edginess, it felt uncomfortable getting something out-right bright. "Celineish" with its clean lines, the trapeze bag is vibrant enough (at least for me) with the pop-out blue and soft white that looks perfect for summer. The bottom black piece satisfies the edginess and sophistication still. The bottom black also decreases the maintenance as you don't have to worry as much as where you are landing it. With plenty of space to carry all of my day time carry-ons, this is my happily invested 2015 goodie sack.
There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.

ONE DAY
Miss Dior Limited Edition
Stella Luna Boots
OPI: Barefoot in Barcelona
Definitely my favorite nude shade, and the first and only nail polish that I finish very single drop of it.
FNFEEL Rainbow Discharge Makeup Fluid
A friend is currently selling this product and he gave me a bottle to try out. The rainbow colors change with different lighting and it is so pretty. I rub this makeup removing oil and then rinse it off with water following face wash . Effective for daily makeup, but my water-prof mascara needs an extra step.

Getting Ready for the Cold
OPI for Sephora: Opening Nights
"Navy blue is a fun shade for this season- it's unpredictable and flattering on all skin tones," says manicurist Madeline Poole.
Lirikos Marine UV Water Cushion
I want to be nicer to my skin with my daily makeup and has always used mineral foundation as I feel it is not as heavy as regular foundation and is "healthier". Almost running out of my Laura Mercier, I decided to join the Cushion BB trend. It is basically BB cream in a cushion form instead of a tube. We know BB cream was introduced first as a skin protection before it became widely popular as makeup in Korean and Japan. So continuing my objective, there is no better replacement.
All-in-one, and with SPF 50+, I can skip many steps in the morning. Coverage is light to medium and I need some concealer to go with it. I really love the texture, and how moisturizing it is on the skin. It has a dewy but balanced finish, and stays on fairly well.

PURRTY
Essie Mint Candy Apple
Chanel Scented Foam Bath
My simple before bed routine during the weekends.
I remove my makeup with Bioderma and cotton pads, leaving the pads first on my eyes then wiggling to clean off mascara and wiping all over the face. No stretching or pulling!
Then I exfoliate my skin with Sansho Skin Renewal Gel. I exfoliate in general twice a week, and use Sansho during the weekends. Just by rubbing and massaging the transparent gel to the skin, keratin will surfaces naturally.
It is important to do a facemask after cleansing and exfoliating, I use either Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask or Suisse Programme Cellular Vital Mask depending on how tired I am and if I would bother washing Suisse off. I leave the facemask on while I apply Peace Love & Juicy Couture Body Lotion and do my nails.

HAUL
Laura Mercier Mineral Pressed Powder (Real Sand)
Third one of these, and still an absolute favorite. Use it on a daily basis and it does not clog your pores; has just the right amount of coverage for a daytime look; and saves morning time by just buffing it on the face with a brush.
Vintage Gold Necklace/ Butter Nail Polish (Knees Up)
Found this vintage gold necklace on a jewelry store while visiting Princeton University. The calendar style is so unique and It is also 50% off. Who cares if September is not my birthday month.
Prada Baroque Sunglasses
Nars Laguna Bronzer
YSL Babydoll Kiss & Blush Lips & Cheeks (Rouge Effrontee)
One that takes care of both your lips and cheeks. Definitely a travel essential, as it not only save room, but when packing light for a vacation and just bringing basic white tees and denim, this extra pop of color makes the whole look complete. The only down side is the lack of moisture and how dry it feels on the lips. Needs lip balm for a companion.
