If you know me, you will understand that my wardrobe is compiled with basic neutral colors, and such a bright floral dress is just out of ordinary. I received this dress as a present and it has been laying in my closet for at least four years collecting dust and never gained any interest. I was cleaning my closet and decided to sell it. For the style to be more current, I wore a white V-neck t-shirt underneath to represent the favorite style of this season. Definitely not something that I am comfortable wearing, but a change is good sometimes.

Catching up with my daily outfit shots so I got my brother to take this one for me at the gas station on our way to the vet for Tobi cat. T-shirt and jeans are the most basic yet essential combination one can get. The front split and ripped jeans makes the basic combination not longer basic. I wonder what the drivers at the gas station think of this girl flipping her hair and putting her arms on her head while getting gas. Must be hilarious.

Outfit number one that I wore during my memorable trip to Turkey during my winter break.  I was expecting a warmer temperature but it turned out to be the same as England, and I had to layer myself to keep warm. At least I got some vitamin D from the sunshine which we do not see so often here.

Packing for a trip can be a headache, especially when you are moving around from place to place and from hotel to hotel. I fit in a weeks worth of winter supplies in just a carryon luggage and I am extremely proud. Talking about wise packing! Most of the item I brought along is a combination of blacks, denims,  leather jackets, and a lot of accessories to change the look. By wearing a different scarf makes the overall outfit look completely different even though its the same basic coat underneath. I shall be updating more details of my days in Istanbul.

I visit London once is a while to take a break from my little town and appreciate some urban vibes. I have always loved London. A city is like meeting a person: some that you see all day and greet politely but never become close friends. and others that you have just met but feels like a best friend since forever. London is like that to me. It has a metropolitan side to it, but some culture architecture shall always remind of its history. Plus, there are always the vintage markets. 

Leaving my sweatshirt, converse, and my thesis back in Cambridge. I decided to walk down St. Paul's Cathedral with my over-the-knee boots. Grey jackets are always a staple and have hardly ever gone out of the trend scene. They are definitly worn more vivaciously this winter, and this jacket I stole from my mom cannot go wrong. Greys, blacks, oh, and red lips of course.

Happy Matriculation! After signing the official documents, I am now a member of my college and the university. 

I wore a black-n-white ladylike dress I got from a sample sale. We are also all required to wear our academic gowns on top for this entrance ceremony, so no one noticed how interesting my dress was from the back.

After taking our group photo, Kevin and I walked in the Newnham gardens, taking advantage of the autumn leaves, and capture this important day of my life in camera. I do not take traditional portraits (or I try not to), so I let my gown fall off my shoulders and started posing. Very academic I should say.

 After weeks of working and staying in, I needed a break where I could dress up and go on a date with girlfriends, drink mojito and chitchat. My girlfriends decide on an outfit theme each time we meet and this sunday was denim jeans. Salina wore the trending flared jeans, which made her legs look miles long. Pairing it with a see-through lace top, it added a delicate feminine touch to the outfit. This girl is on fire!

I went my usual route, wearing minimal, classic, and a versatile combination of boyfriend jeans with a men's shirt. Spicing it up with a big choker, and red details.

It's Sunday, fun day, and denim day.

Pink is never a usual color in my closet, as I always go for the basic black, white, and grey. A typical day at work and meeting a girlfriend after, I wanted to spice up my office look with colors while still keeping it appropriate for the office environment. 

Definitely working the "runway" on the track and field ignoring the curious stares of children getting ready for their physical education class. Life is about what makes you feel good, and not bothering with what others think. They will keep judging no matter what you do, you know.

Don't fight for someone's attention. If they really are, you shouldn't have to.
