Final update on my last trip in LA a few weeks ago. Casual morning taking a walk at the beach. Wearing J-crew silk blouse I got the day before at the Desert Hill Outlet on our way back from Vegas. Ebase pants, Karen Walker shades, and H&M rings.

I need to give a little speech about my love for Converse.  I finally persuaded by boyfriend to get his pair and we went couple. This is what models are spotted wearing after a photo shoots...the ultimate cool kid shoe. They can be found next to manolos and CLs in closets.

 Fun to mix n match to anything from shorts, to skinny jeans, to formal wear, and even girly dresses. Looks so laid back but still in style. Keep stocking........................

Michael Kors Watch, H&M Rings, MCM Bag

Was in love with those Balenciaga rings the moment I laid eyes on them. Cheap steal from H&M for 1000x times less the price, and still makes a statement.

Graduation Season

On vacation. I'm visiting Cali again for my boyfriend's graduation. 

 Wearing this Max Mara dress I "stole" from my mother's closet last summer when I was back home. Attempted, to be accurate, but then she just gave it to me. Plus, my shopaholic mother will never realize what's missing because she hardly remembers what she bought. Paired it with these black versatile heels from Zara.

Some of my personal tips to dress for graduation:

Choose a simple and classic dress that hits around the knees. Certainly want to look chic but also appropriate enough in front of faculty and parents.

Elegance is key. Not the time of edginess, so keep jewelry minimal and dainty.

As I mentioned this originally was not my dress, thus it is not my most preferred size. A skinny belts adds a waist-line to the flowy texture. Wouldn't be a bad idea for other graduation looks that endanger to look bulky.

Call Me When You Can

 Forever21 Sweater. Zara High-waisted Shorts. J Crew Earrings. Jeffrey Campbell "See-Stars" Boots.

The only request after seeing my brother in months was to go shopping with him and so we did. 

It can still get chilly in Seattle at this time of the year, thus I went with a sweater and shorts. I cannot define my obsession with high-waisted anything! A simple high-waisted bottom just adds an instant uniqueness to any outfit. Especially these Zara shorts, they absolutely go with anything and I had to purposely stop myself from continuously pulling them out of my closet. Paired my "See-Stars" boots which I have loved for two years now (and continue on...) to match the metallic lining of my sweater. 

Check my phone. Call me when you can. 

UCLA

Faithful Seattleite skipped Starbucks and went for The Coffee Bean, thanks to Monica who I met at the airport. We ended up sitting together and talked all the way on the plane. I couldn't resist her satisfied facial expression when she talked about this coffee, so I had to try it for myself. Results? Not sure.

Spanish Breeze

Flew off to California during the weekend, definitely missed the sunshine. Drove up north from LA and stopped at Santa Barbara. The beach, the Spanish architecture, the peacefulness...I just wanted to unload my luggage and spend the rest of my life here. And since it's just 2 hours away from Los Angeles, I could just go there whenever I miss the crowd...just saying... I have it planned.
